York Analytical Laboratories is Greater New York’s preeminent full-service environmental testing lab, servicing environmental consultants, developers, utilities, corporate entities and government agencies. York provides analysis of environmental samples including water, soil, air and drinking water for regulated contaminants, including being the leader in emerging contaminants such as PFAS. York is a NELAP-accredited laboratory and maintains comprehensive licenses in various states, including New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. In addition to servicing clients working on monitoring, commercial development and abatement projects, York is involved in large, long-term infrastructure and high profile projects such as the La Guardia, JFK and Newark airport reconstructions, the Yankee Stadium development, the Second Avenue Subway and Brooklyn Navy Yards projects. York is headquartered in Nyack, NY with labs in Stratford and Newtown, CT, Toms River, NJ and Queens, NY (NYC’s only environmental lab), and customer service centers in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
York was successfully sold to ALS Limited in 2024.
