Compact Power Equipment Rentals was a rapidly growing specialty equipment rental company based in Fort Mill, South Carolina (a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina). Compact Power rents specialized towable construction and landscaping equipment, including mini-skid steers, backhoes, trenchers, chippers and lifts, to landscape, irrigation, construction and other specialty contractors, as well as do-it-yourself retail customers, predominantly out of more than 1,100 Home Depot locations across North America. In addition, Compact Power also had a maintenance services division which provided maintenance on in-store equipment to the largest big-box retailers across the United States and Canada.
TerraNova and its partners successfully sold Compact Power to The Home Depot.
